Launching an Independent Revive Europe
In December 2019, 3,000 students and graduates from across Europe gathered for the first “Revive” student evangelism conference. They left revived in their own faith, equipped to share Jesus with their friends on campus, and eager to see revival spread across the region. Many continue to be strengthened in their faith and witness by Revive.
The next Revive Europe conference is taking place at the end of December. This will mark a significant step to independence for the Revive movement that began and developed through the ministry of IFES Europe.
Since Revive’s first event in 2019, the vision and breadth of its work have grown to the point that the IFES and Revive leadership teams feel that both our missions would be best achieved if Revive was able to launch as an independent movement, able to have its own governance and support structures. Revive will be managed outside IFES Europe from the start of June, but with a time of transition through to the start of January 2023. We remain in close partnership and supportive of Revive’s vision to inspire and equip students and young people in their Christian witness.
“I am thankful for the passion for evangelism in IFES Europe that grew the Revive student conference. Both IFES and Revive share a deep love of God and desire to see him glorified in our world. Let us pray together that Revive continues to be a blessing to the church across Europe as it moves into this new season.”
